Namaste Deutschland!
The Indo-German Exchange program is what we all were in-anticipation for, and here it is finally !
Being a part of it was a good thing, and having Miss Manns as a partner was even better, as we share the same like in music, movies, books (except maths!)
The activities and outings planned during the 2 weeks made it more enjoyable. Visiting monuments in Delhi like the beautiful Akshardham Temple, Qutub Minar, Bahai Temple, India Gate was truly an overwhelming experience.
Visit to THE Taj Mahal, which is also one of the 7 wonders of the world, was also a very fun-filled but tiring trip. Co-scholastic activities like clay-modelling, music, film presentations, tabla, rangoli/poster making also added to the enjoyment.
The exchange of the cultures, traditions, languages and habits of both the countries was indeed interesting. The stay with the german students, despite the age factor, was also quite enjoyable with hilarious memories. Looking forward to having more fun when we go to Deutschland! Alles Gute!

Manas
I happened to be good in German language and thus was selected for the German exchange program. I felt privileged to host a German boy, Jonas Scherr as my exchange partner. He was quite older than me, nearly 3yrs and was in 12th class. His hobbies were quit similar as mine, like he like to play piano and watch some shows that I also like very much. On his first day in India I took him to a mall near by my home. It was nice day and I made him try some Indian food like paani puri. On second day he visited Akshardham temple but sadly i wasn't there with him as only two Indian students went there. On some following days i took him to many places e.g different malls, blind school fate etc. On Saturday, 30th October we went for Delhi Dharshan with my other colleagues from school, where we visited India Gate, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, and Red Fort (from outside). I along with other Indian student decided to have a Football match Germany VS. India in which Germany won by 1 goal. Till now it has been a great experience for me and I hope it will be till the end of the program and I feel very privileged to take part in our school's first Austausch Programm or Exchange program. I hope that our school continues to have such programs frequently so that we can improve our language in an enjoyable way.

My Experience in being a part of Indo-German Exchange Program
Being part of an exchange program is an amazing experience. From the very beginning this has been an exciting journey. The preparations and the excursions have been truly delightful.
This exchange program has given me a chance to explore the
culture and traditions of Germany and also to appreciate the difference.
This being my very first exchange program, will always be cherished by me.

I Simarjot Singh of class X-D feel privileged to be a part of this Indo-German exchange programme. I feel proud that I got the chance to be the partner of Moritz Heileger. First when he came i was not well. I had little fever and because of that i couldn't attend the school.I also missed the trip to Agra and many other places where they went. And because of me Moritz also missed some of that. I feel sorry for him but later we went to many places together like mall and to play soccer with other students also. We had great fun together. The most enjoyable day was the day of Delhi Darshan. We went to Qutub Minar,Lotus Temple and India Gate. Had great fun there. After coming back home I also took him to the Diwali Mela going on in my area. There he enjoyed very much at the swings with my other friends. At last till now I had great fun learning and playing with him.Thank you for making me a part of this wonderful programme.

My Amazing Experience
Moments I’ve had are like sand...they just stay with me if kept wet otherwise, they just scatter away!! This exchange program has been so cool so far and I don’t want it to end so fast but Moments are like sand and sand is like time and time flies fast as a matter of fact!! It’s been good from the first day itself! It was 10 a.m. and I was the one who had to put the tickas…I was pretty excited and confident at first!! But then as the bus approached our reception…I could feel the adrenaline rushing through my nerves!! I got so nervous…and then it was all blank for me!! I was totally not on the ground… for a second it felt as if the gravity lost its force!! But then when everybody came in with their joyous warm smiles and dazzled eyes…I could feel everything going right the way I wanted it to be! Then we had our intros and Andreas (my dear partner) spoke so less that my concerns grew as I speak a lot generally!! Then we went home and I kept on trying to make him comfortable in every possible manner!! The next day we went to the mall and it was a wonderstruck… I should say…he totally opened up!! I mean…es war genial… I can write a complete novel about my experience if I have genug time but I don’t!! I totally love it!! Germans are jewels...I must say!! Ciao For Now!!

These days have been the most wonderful days of my life. Just having fun all the time, knowing about the real Germany, its culture and lifestyle which I know one could not find in any guide, manual, brochure or Internet and also knowing more about my own city. It was beautiful spending time with an unknown person who eventually becomes your best friend sharing all his personal and private secrets with you. There were places of Delhi which i had never visited and i got a chance to know about its history. The lotus temple, Qutub minar, parliament house, bangla sahib and much more were just super. Besides that we went to the malls, the amusement park, a scary house, and a village which was real fun. The best was the trip to Agra, to Taj Mahal. The place was beautiful but the road trip was even nicer as we communicated and had loads of fun with the Germans- our new friends. This was a life time experience and i feel pity on those who missed it. I hope we have even more fun when we go there. All thanks to my principal sir and my German teacher.
Thank you
Thank you

MY EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCE!
How will she be? I hope she's not arrogant or moody! What will I do? These questions popped up in my mind before an hour of their arrival! And then, we welcomed them, my eyes finding Carina Jaerling, my partner! Soon we met and all those questions were answered. She is the funny, blithesome and sweet gal whom I wished for! My stay with her is awesome and very cool. She loves the Indian food, the rituals, the suit and the saree! In fact, in her next life, she wishes to be born as an Indian! Carina is always ready to dance, chat and do masti 'n' soduku;in short she's just like me! She has got along well with my parents and grandma too. We both have many similar things, maybe coincidences but I feel that we have some kind of connection! Although sometimes she gets sad, will not talk or make weird faces for food etc, which I or my parents don't like, but 'Cary and Chilli' are happy together. The best thing of Carina is that she is very adjusting, such as if we don't go out somewhere, she understands and doesn't say anything; rather we play UNO or read books or watch some Hindi movies!
Carina is best descirbed as "A cheerful friend who is like a sunny day spreading brightness all around".
All in all, I am having a spectacular time with her now and hope to have more fun when I go to Germany!

My school is hosting a cultural exchange program for the first time and i am glad that i am a part of it.
I found this idea of an exchange program really good.
These days we are having a great experience with the students of Europaschule Germany.
It is a very different experience.
Our school has arranged for their visit to various places in Delhi the Indian students who are hosting the guest students are also accompanying them to various places.
So I find that great.
I am glad that I had shown my desire to be a part of this program and had been selected.
It is also really a great opportunity for us to improve our German language.
My exchange partner is very nice and friendly, she has become a part of my family.
We also exchange our views on various topics.
We get know about the life and culture of people in other countries.
