Time to say goodbye

Well the time is come to say goodbye.
I think i can speak for everybody that we had a wonderful time and i guess we found some new friends as well.
There is so much we experienced and so much new we had discovered.
We learned a lot about an other culture and got an insight of a family in this whole other life.
Also the temperature and the air was really different from Europe.
The food, well the food needs getting used to but honestly after almost three weeks you are used to it.
So I come to the end that we go home so much richer at experiences and i guess that we all will miss our new friends here in Delhi.
Well and i guess not only the Germans have made some new experiences but also the Indians learned already a lot about the German culture.

Wednesday- last school day

Today started with a shocking message, that this will be our last school day.
After a little talking in the conference room we had a performance of the lower classes. First they spoke a while and give us a red point on the front, after that a lot of little girls started dancing one by one. Following of a little performance with comments about the history of the Diwali. When the performance was over we get some typical Indian sweets and went back to the conference room. Mathilda and Yasemin gave a speech about the German Wedding and Mallika and Avni gave a speech about the Indian Marriages, which we discuss later on.
After that we had a little breakfast following of a lesson, for the boys sports and for the girls dancing. Just Maximilian wanted to dance too.
After that lesson we got back to the conference room and met our exchange students there again, then we watched the movie "Mondscheinkinder" which we didn't finish at Monday.
After the movie we had some time to talk and the teachers improvised something. We had to make a connection between the move and Diwali. After that we waited for the principal. As we heard that he comes later, Carina and Jessica started a small presentation about this homepage. After hat was finished, Dhruv and Ruben showed us their little funny photo presentation about this exchange. While the presentation was going, the principal went in. After he hold a speech about saying goodbye we had a little farewell dinner.
Then we are allowed to go home from school for the last time

Tuesday- German Day

Today was a special day for us.
We all came in Indian dresses, the girls in sari the boys in a suit. After we all looked at each other and took some pictures, we went to the German room to had a math lesson. At this lesson we worked with discs.
After that lesson we went to the auditorium to watch the final rehearsal for our special day.
We practiced our tabla playing once again, after that we waited again.
Then the performance of the German Day began.
It started with two songs of the school choir called "Vater unser" and "Wach auf". After that we first show our tabla arts and after that the Indian students showed how it has to sounds like.
After that some Indian students performed a little drama about one of the Indian myths called "Ramayana".
Then a mix of Indian and German dances followed.
After that we sang the song "Viva Colonia".
Then we got some presents of the school and each of us got a cartoon picture of himself.
At last we sang the national-hymn followed from the Indian one. Then we had to get pictures taken by everybody and after that was finished we are allowed to go and had some food.
Between every section of performances there was at least one little or longer speech.
When we finished the lunch we were ready to go home so we waited until the bell and went to the reception to meet our exchange-partners again.
